Returns & Refunds
Everything here is your legal right as a UK consumer buying online. Nothing on this page takes any of it away.
Changed your mind — 14 days
You can cancel your order for any reason, without giving a reason, within 14 days of the day you receive it. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Our t-shirts are printed once you order, but you still get this right: you choose a size and colour from a fixed list rather than personalising the item, so it does not count as a bespoke or personalised good.
Tell us by emailing DogBytesRecords@outlook.com within those 14 days. You then have a further 14 days to send the item back.
Getting your money back
We refund within 14 days of receiving the item back, using the same payment method you paid with. That includes the standard delivery charge you originally paid.
Items must come back in a resaleable condition. We can reduce a refund if an item has been handled more than was needed to check it — trying a shirt on is fine, wearing it out is not.
Who pays return postage
If you are returning something because you changed your mind, you pay the return postage.
If the item is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we pay — send us the receipt and we will refund the postage too.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject a faulty item and get a full refund within 30 days of receiving it. After that, and for up to six months, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund if that is not possible.
Email us a photograph of the problem and we will sort it out. Please do not post anything back before contacting us — printed-to-order items are returned to the printer, not to us, and we will send you the right address.
How to start a return
Email DogBytesRecords@outlook.com with your order number, what you are returning, and whether it is a change of mind or a fault. We will reply with the return address.
Our postal address is 26 Berkley Drive, Guisborough, TS14 7LU, United Kingdom.
If we cannot agree
Contact us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still unhappy, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice, who can refer a complaint to Trading Standards on your behalf.
